Detail Information

T-4024 Direct Drive Motor

Lightweight sensor heads, desktop displays and small laboratory mechanisms often need to limit both installation space and moving mass. The T-4024 combines a Ø40 × 24 mm body with a weight of approximately 70 g, a rated torque of 0.09 N·m and a rated speed of 467 rpm. Its compact dimensions and low motor mass make it an option for light-duty rotary assemblies, with room to integrate the drive into a small base or moving bracket. The direct-drive configuration couples the motor to the load without an intermediate reduction stage, providing a straightforward transmission layout for compact rotary heads.

Product Advantages

Motor features and dimensions

70 g Motor Weight for Lightweight Assemblies

When a motor is mounted on an oscillating component or moving bracket, its own weight adds to the load on the upstream mechanism. At 70 g, the T-4024 helps designers manage the drive's mass budget while leaving more allowance for sensors, brackets and connecting parts, provided its output meets the application requirements.

24 mm Body Thickness for Compact Layouts

The 40 mm outside diameter and 24 mm axial thickness define the radial and axial space required by the motor. These dimensions support compact mounting layouts for desktop devices, small bases and rotary sensor heads. A direct-drive arrangement can eliminate intermediate reduction components and simplify the transmission path between motor and load.

Light-Duty Output for 12 V Systems

Rated torque of 0.09 N·m and peak torque of 0.15 N·m provide separate references for normal operation and short-duration motion. The 12 V rated supply supports evaluation within small devices using an existing 12 V power platform. A rated speed of 467 rpm provides a basis for selecting continuous rotation or angular adjustment speeds.

Integration Around Light-Duty Rotary Tasks

Sensor orientation mechanisms can be assessed around moving mass and angular control requirements. Small display devices can be assessed around platform inertia and continuous rotation speed, while desktop laboratory mechanisms can be matched to available space and power. In these applications, limiting motor size and weight may be more useful than increasing the maximum available torque.

Robot application scenarios

Motion Control and System Connectivity

A single-turn absolute encoder provides position feedback. The associated controller supports position, speed and Q-axis current modes for angular positioning, continuous rotation or current-regulation tasks. RS485 and CAN interfaces support connection to the equipment control system. Motor control resolution is 14 bit; actual motion performance depends on the load, mechanical connection and control tuning.
