Detail Information

T-6831 Direct Drive Motor

RotaLow-profile turntables, compact bases and height-restricted rotary assemblies often need to resolve axial space constraints before selecting output and speed. The T-6831 has a Ø68 × 31 mm body and weighs approximately 261 g. Both its 24 V and 36 V versions provide 0.8 N·m rated torque, offering different supply and speed combinations within a 31 mm body thickness. Direct drive avoids the additional axial stack of a separate reduction stage, allowing the layout to focus on motor thickness, the load connection and supporting components.

Product Advantages

Motor features and dimensions

31 mm Thickness for Low-Profile Layouts

The axial dimension supports drive placement beneath a rotating platform or inside a compact base. Compared with the T-6034, body thickness decreases from 34 mm to 31 mm while diameter increases from 60 mm to 68 mm. This provides an option where reduced axial height is a priority and sufficient radial space is available.

Different Speeds at the Same Rated Torque

The 24 V version has a rated speed of 618 rpm; the 36 V version has a rated speed of 294 rpm. Both are rated at 0.8 N·m. Designers can select according to target speed and the available power platform. These are separate electrical versions and must be evaluated using their corresponding specifications.

Robot joint motor specifications

Peak Output Matched to Supply Requirements

The 24 V version provides 1.93 N·m peak torque at a specified peak current of 16 A. The 36 V version provides 1.59 N·m peak torque with a peak current of 2.7 A. For intermittent rotation or brief acceleration, these paired values help assess output margin, transient power requirements and current-limit settings together.

Integration Around Low-Profile Platforms

Low-profile display turntables can be assessed around axial space, while compact rotary assemblies can be evaluated around a direct-drive transmission layout. Equipment with an established power platform can be assessed using the appropriate 24 V or 36 V version. The same nominal dimensions and weight allow electrical selection to continue after the mechanical envelope has been defined.

Robot application scenarios

Motion Control and System Connectivity

A single-turn absolute encoder provides position feedback. The associated controller supports position, speed and Q-axis current modes for angular positioning, continuous rotation or current-regulation tasks. RS485 and CAN interfaces support connection to the equipment control system. Motor control resolution is 14 bit; actual motion performance depends on the load, mechanical connection and control tuning.
