SLJ20 Ultra-Lightweight Integrated Harmonic Joint
The SLJ20 is an ultralight integrated joint module designed for humanoid robots, collaborative robotic arms, exoskeletons, quadruped robots, and other high-precision motion-control equipment.
Its compact architecture integrates a servo motor, harmonic reducer, dual high-resolution encoders, servo drive, communication interfaces, and a gear-engagement electromagnetic brake. Weighing approximately 0.98 kg and rated at 160 W, the SLJ20 is available with reduction ratios of 50:1, 80:1, 100:1, and 120:1, combining lightweight construction with high torque, precise positioning, and efficient system integration.
The SLJ20 supports EtherCAT, CAN, and CAN FD communication, meeting the requirements of real-time multi-axis control, rapid response, and status feedback. It provides a standardized joint actuation platform for robot development, system integration, and volume production.

Depending on the reduction ratio, the SLJ20 provides rated torque from 33 to 52 N·m, start-stop peak torque from 73 to 113 N·m, and instantaneous maximum torque of up to 189 N·m.
This wide torque range supports joint acceleration, braking, position holding, and short-duration high-load movements.

Multiple Harmonic Reduction Ratios
Reduction ratios of 50:1, 80:1, 100:1, and 120:1 are available. Users can select the appropriate configuration according to joint speed, output torque, and positioning requirements for different robot axes.
Dual 19-Bit Absolute Encoders
The motor input and joint output sides are both equipped with 19-bit absolute encoders. This enables simultaneous monitoring of motor-side and output-side positions, providing reliable feedback for closed-loop control, reducer error compensation, and high-precision motion control.
The battery-free encoder design reduces maintenance requirements and improves long-term operational convenience.

With repeatability of 1 arc minute, the SLJ20 meets the joint-position consistency requirements of collaborative robots, humanoid robots, and precision automation equipment.
Multiple Industrial Communication Interfaces
EtherCAT, CAN, and CAN FD communication options enable straightforward integration with robot controllers and real-time multi-axis control systems. Available protocols and interface configurations depend on the complete ordering code.
